U.S. Armyâ€™s 82nd Airborne Divisionâ€™s alert brigade was issued orders to deploy rapidly to Kuwait on Tuesday

The headline writer obviously knows nothing about the 82nd Abn. One brigade or another are ALWAYS prepared to go anywhere as soon as they get the call.

The Pentagon just notified them it might be happening and where they might be going. The phone calls have already gone out,and the "sticks" are ready to load on to aircraft any time the word is given to go.

About all they really have to do when they get one of these alerts is to issue ammo and fill canteens with fresh water. Everything else is pre-packed and strapped on pallets.
