Agreed. That was the whole idea behind Common Core. Years ago the objective was to make sure that students could pass the 'achievement' tests, so the concentration wasn't on teaching, but preparing for testing.
And passing the "achievement tests" is not even a solid criteria for having learned anything.... since the kids have been forced to memorize crap to pass the test that they will never retain. They haven't learned anything, in reality. Except maybe how to put on condoms, that it's great to have two mommies or two daddies instead of just one of each, and that the gay lifestyle is cool.
Respect for your elders, superiors, teachers, policemen, etc., should be taught at home. Unfortunately, we've become a society that chases after the mighty dollar instead of chasing after our own kids. Parents don't seem to have the time or take the time to teach their children simple manners and courtesy towards one another.
Oh, some parents have enough time to teach their kid(s) to be just like them.... dishonest and greedy to the core and criminal-minded (ie the Bidens).
In addition our society is now riddled with illegals who expect everyone to pander to their culture and way of life; all the while eroding what little bit is left of our Republic.
The illegals have been coached to expect everything free in America, including voting rights and skipping to the head of the citizenship line via illegal invasion by leftist radicals like Soros. And meanwhile, leftists sit back and refuse to change the damn laws with the loopholes that allow this BS to continue.
It truly is a very sad day in America.
And I fear that it's going to get a lot sadder before that tree is refreshed (if ever). This is what happens if/when you give power to your enemy within.... the radical leftist Democrats.
