'Wish the story wasn't real': Fitbit helps reporter catch her cheating boyfriend

A reporter shared the story of how she found out about her former boyfriend's infidelity — with the help of a fitness tracker.

Earlier this month, NFL Network correspondent Jane Slater reacted to the recent Peleton advertisement that went viral by opening up about how another exercise tool led to her to discover her ex-boyfriend was cheating on her.

"An Ex Boyfriend once got me a Fitbit for Christmas. I loved it," she tweeted. "We synched up, motivated each other... didn’t hate it until he was unaccounted for at 4am and his physical activity levels were spiking on the app."
