Parts of Patrick Air Force Base in Florida were evacuated on Friday afternoon in response to a bomb threat reported around 3:30 p.m.
The 45th Space Wing issued a Friday tweet noting the evacuations. Security Forces, Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) members and a fire department responded to the bomb threat.
“A bomb threat has been reported for Patrick Air Force Base, Fla. The immediate area was evacuated for safety,†the 45th Space Wing tweet said.
