'I'm done being quiet': Lisa Page emerges ahead of FISA report

Lisa Page, the former FBI lawyer whose anti-Trump text messages became ammo for Republicans to allege a "coup" against President Trump, stepped into the public spotlight one week ahead of a highly anticipated Justice Department inspector general report.

The Daily Beast published an interview with Page in the evening Sunday and shortly afterward she was revealed to be on Twitter. "I’m done being quiet," Page said in a short tweet sharing the report.

Benjamin Wittes, editor-in-chief of Lawfare and "good friend" of former FBI Director James Comey, confirmed the account, @NatSecLisa, is hers.

Page, 39, has been publicly silent ever since she left the bureau in May 2018 amid a political firestorm sparked by the revelation that she exchanged text messages with then-FBI special agent Peter Strzok in 2016 and 2017 that were heavily critical of Trump and that she also had an affair with her colleague.

I guess it's just too much to expect any of these state clowns to be contrite.

And Trump was doing a 'humiliating impression of Page having sex' only in the minds of porn addled progressives. To most normal people he was simply doing a humiliating impression of Page.

Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino said on Monday that ex-FBI lawyer Lisa Page breaking her silence to push back on President Trump’s name-calling is more evidence that the “deep-staters” are in a panic.

“You understand the panic these deep-staters are in right now? That’s why they are coming out and doing these stories,” Bongino said on “Fox & Friends.”

In an interview published late Sunday, Page, the ex-FBI lawyer who carried on an extramarital affair with former FBI head of counterintelligence Peter Strzok as the two exchanged anti-Trump text messages, said she was breaking her silence.

I usually don't make predictions,but I am going to go out on a limb here and predict she will soon by signing a contract to write,and possibly even co-start in a "Network Movie of the Week" about her story that will be released maybe 30 days before the election.

She will spend that 30 days going from one media outlet to another,and accepting every "You GO Gurl!" award in sight.

I wouldn't be surprised in Pete Buttplug announced he would be giving her a position in his new administration if he is the Dim nominee.

You MUST start with the premise that the FBI hasn't proven to the American People that they can be trusted.

These so-called 'Lost' emails that they 'suddenly find'?   GTFO!!!

They should be destroyed without even looking at them...THAT'S how authentic and trustworthy they are.

She was probably one of the earliest to soil herself.  She's already turned.  IMO, she's just trying to stay alive.
