By S.A. Miller, Gabriella Muñoz and Alex Swoyer - The Washington Times - Thursday, November 21, 2019

After two weeks of impeachment hearings, House Democratic leaders were poised to draft articles of impeachment against President Trump, but their rank-and-file members were stumped about what should be the next move.

Lawmakers headed home for Thanksgiving break unsure whether there would be more hearings or when they would cast a seemingly inevitable vote on impeachment, with just eight legislative days remaining before the end of the year.

Rep. Adam B. Schiff, the California Democrat and intelligence committee chairman who presided over the hearings, said the parade of witnesses had presented a clear-cut case that Mr. Trump abused the levers of power and bribed Ukraine officials to help his re-election campaign.

“They were willing to do whatever was necessary to get Ukraine to do that dirty work, to do that investigation. And then there was a quid pro quo regarding the White House meeting,” Mr. Schiff said in a closing argument.

But there was not one shred of evidence presented in the entire two week long Schiff Show to support that line of BS. NONE! ZERO! NADA!

"Lawmakers headed home for Thanksgiving break unsure whether there would be more hearings or when they would cast a seemingly inevitable vote on impeachment, with just eight legislative days remaining before the end of the year."

Don't see how they can send their report to the Judicial Committee and that Committee hear testimony and write the articles, then send that to full House for a discussion, then vote, in EIGHT DAYS.

I would guess that the articles of impeachment have already been drafted.

Every dim rep voting aye in this debacle is complicit in this attempted coup.

What Obama did with the plane load of cash payment to Iran is a 100X worse than anything Trump ever did.

And that SOB skated.

The script has already been prepared.

It looks like a runaway train at this point.

The Rats started this sham and now everyone can see there is nothing there. However, if this goes to the Senate and Trump is allowed to put on an affirmative defense Rat corruption and collusion with Ukraine is going to come out. In addition to this, a trial in the Senate will have a lot more attention and the viewership will increase. I don't know if Schiff can be compelled to testify under oath, but I think his staff can be as well as the IG, Ciramella, Vindman, the Bidens and who knows maybe the Ukrainian prosecutor who was fired because of Joe Biden.

I know I'm praying that the end result is not only Trump's exoneration and re-election with a big Pub majority, but also the beginning of the end of the bureaucratic led tyranny of the federal govt.

I haven't been watching this clown show 100%, but I can almost bet the farm, that this joke of a hearing will not reuslt in a 2/3 conviction vote in the senate.

A vote only takes 15 minutes, and Pelosi is sure to clamp down on any attempts to delay or debate the Articles which are, as has been noted, already written and are sitting in a Congressman's desk drawer.  They've been working on the Articles since November 9, 2016.

The Rats may not even get to 218 votes in the House, if they get a sufficient earful from their constituents while back in their Districts.  This Schitt-show failed to move the needle towards Impeachment, as they had hoped it would.

Interesting.  Schiff didn't mention any quid pro quo with respect to the appropriated military aid,  just the photo op?   That such a trivial "offense" is impeachable is a sick joke.  Maybe the Dems won't get the needed 218 votes to impeach.

I'm thinking the Democrats might realize the futility of impeaching which leads to a Senate trial in which SIX of their presidential candidates will end up like hostages for weeks OFF the campaign trail due to having to sit in the Senate throughout the proceeding. Therefore a vote of censure by the House might replace impeachment.

A censure for all this time and expense?  The sheer magnitude of failure will leave egg all over their stinkin' faces.

Of course.
They were drafted January 20, 2017.

Don't discount the alternative of censure by the Senate.

Don't discount the alternative of censure by the Senate.

Censure of somebody outside of the Congress is a colossal waste of time, and equally meaningless.  This is why I'm expecting them to do this.

The script has already been prepared.

They will probably rush to get it done around December 3-6.   Then..... only 'after' Trump has been impeached, the IG report will drop (as I previously predicted).  Much too late for anything in the report to help save him.   As planned by the deep state all along.

I just read that it has to go to the Judiciary Committee (Nadler's) for hearings before it can come to a full vote which means that would took place at some time just before Christmas at the earliest.

Heard yesterday the impeachment committee won't take their days off until they get their report ready for the Judicial Committee and the Judicial Committee also won't take their days off so they can work on writing the articles of impeachment using the report from the impeachment committee.

According to recent reports Lev Parnas wants to testify, and Ambassador Bolton looks like he's got something he wants to say.  I see no reason to wrap this up this year.  I'm sure all the Trump supporters think the longer this goes on the more it hurts the rats.  Why look a gift horse in the mouth?

The writing of the Articles of Impeachment have been finished for some time.  They are only pretending they still have to draft them so the LIVs will believe this is all just a spontaneous response to something they only just now found out about.

It's rather nauseating.
