BTW,anyone in the military earns a Purple Heart if wounded due to enemy action while serving in a designated combat zone. Has nothing to do with career field. You could be the Chaplin's assistant and earn one. You could be an unarmed conscientious observer and earn one if you are in the military. Has nothing to do with fighting,and everything to do with being wounded.

More like.... Nunes is getting their direct testimony, under oath, to the effect that they didn't leak.  If they're committing perjury, that will be dealt with later.   When Nunes asked Vindman if he "knew" anyone that did leak the call... he was suddenly instructed by Shifty not to answer (name, rank and serial number only???).   So Schiff knows damned well what Vindman knows.

Not at all. It's just their duty assignment. Note all the enlisted swine you see wearing stripes in the background at official events.They are there to do their normal jobs.

Most are clerks or Military Police of some type.  The only thing abnormal is where they are doing their duty.

Rest assured,they ALL have gone through some VERY serious background checks before they get that kind of access.

Note that... both Vindman and Williams just stated, under oath, that the call transcript was "substantially accurate".   Which shoots all to hell the idiot left's assertions that the transcript was incomplete or inaccurate.

IMHO I don't think he's as important as he and the Dems have made him out to be.  He's a mid level staffer at the NSC...more than likely brought in to listen to the call because he speaks the language.

He's got a history of not following the chain of command if he doesn't get his way and he's a known leaker that had to be reprimanded by his boss at one point for bashing his fellow U.S. to and in front of Russian soldiers.

Seems pretty important to establish whether Vindman was a source for the whistleblower, especially since Dems are holding Vindman out as independent corroboration of the whistleblower. This is circular reporting. Reminiscent of the Steele dossier.
