It is becoming clear that if Burisma and Ukrainian corruption are properly investigated, it will reveal massive corruption involving US politicians.

That is why they fired the prosecutor and why they are trying to impeach Trump....stop the investigation that would reveal everything and destroy multiple political careers.

This explains it.
Anti-Trump CIA whistleblower Eric Ciaramella filed his second-hand “whistleblower” complaint against President Trump after speaking with Adam Schiff’s team in September.

Ciaramella claimed he was concerned about President Trump’s discussion of Hunter Biden during his call with Ukrainian President Zelensky.

Now we know why Ciaramella was so concerned.
According to White House visitor logs Eric Ciaramella was hosting the January 19, 2016 White House meeting where Ukrainian officials were told to drop the investigation into Hunter Biden.

“According to Stephen McIntyre the demand that Ukrainian top prosecutor Viktor Shokin be fired as a condition for IMF loan almost certainly originated with Biden staff. The demand was first announced to Ukrainian prosecutors at a January 19, 2016 meeting with US officials hosted by Eric Ciaramella.”

These people are even bigger idiots than I thought.  They really believe themselves to be all-powerful with zero regard to truth and facts.  Here's a guy with a direct role in Biden's quid-pro-Joe, yet he turns around and falsely accuses Trump of the same thing as if the Biden part never happened.

As a concrete rule, any time Democrats accuse you of wrongdoing, it is because they are already doing it themselves.  And now it is clear why Democrats accused Bush of running a shadow government when he was in office.

@Hoodat

Given the history of the Dim Party since the 1930's,why WOULDN'T they consider themselves to be all-powerful? King Franklin and his wife were both communists,Joe Kennedy committed treason in time of war and wasn't even fined, then he admitted to buying the election for JFK,and nothing happened then, either.

The Kennedy kids were just as evil as their father, but we got lucky and they were all idiots too stupid to cover their tracks. Or learn how to drive or fly airplanes.

Then there is Bubba, most certainly NOT a fool and most certainly a VERY smart man,but clearly a sociopath only concerned with himself.

Finally,we have Bathhouse Barry and his lovely bride,Manchelle, followed by the current clown parade.

Anyone who isn't paranoid in 2021 just isn't thinking clearly!

Jes' fer the sake of supposin'...

Let's suppose the House actually votes out articles of impeachment...

... and then let's suppose that the Senate actually conducts a trial...

... and then let's suppose that they subpoena this Ciaramella guy.

What are the chances he will actually show up and testify under oath...?

More than likely, he'll show up and just take the fifth. Dems will go into hystrionics over the GOP "exposing the poor heroic whistleblower" and that will be that. He isn't going to answer questions, you can bank on that. What would be MUCH more interesting would be to bring Schiff and some of his key staffers before the Senate and ask them questions about their contact with the whistleblower...they could take the fifth, of course, but that would look horrific politically.
