So…it’s fine to force feed Christian students barbarically-slaughtered Halal meat in school, but when a British foster family serves a Muslim foster child bacon, it turns into a federal case

A British judge has expressed her “abhorrence” at foster parents caring for children taken away from an abusive Muslim household, because they became too Westernized and even ate bacon.

Breitbart Judge Angela Finnerty said she “shared the abhorrence of the [biological] parents” over the fact the children were served bacon and eggs for breakfast, according to The Sun, which further reports that “One of the children also ate a hot dog at a fair.”

The biological father of the children accused the council of “playing God” by failing to ensure they continued to follow Islam, somewhat counter-intuitively.

Where exactly are Christian students tied down or otherwise forced to eat Halal meats? Forbidden to bring their own lunches from home?

The headline is based on a false equivalence.  The non-eating of pork is a religious obligation of both Judaism and Islam.  There is no religious obligation incumbent upon Christians of any confession to avoid meat on the basis of the method by which the animal was slaughtered, and even the obligation to abstain from meat offered to idols only applies if there is someone who has scruples about it whose conscience would be hurt witnessing the act.

That is a mighty broad brush. I would be offended if someone fed my kid pork. In fact, I would probably be pissed.
