He’s wants to be on Trump’s side now?

It’s now official. Former U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions is a Republican candidate for U.S. Senate in Alabama, a seat he once occupied prior to going to serve in President Donald Trump’s administration in 2017.

Earlier in the evening, Sessions’ campaign website went live, and he published his first campaign video, which was featured in his announcement on Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

During that appearance, Sessions addressed his desire to run and his falling out with Trump. Sessions told Carlson that he hoped to have an opportunity to discuss his campaign with Trump.

i'm sorry but I think its opposite.  Trump knows better than to keep up his comedy act on Sessions.  Sessions has the support of Republicans who served with him.  Trump isn't doing all that great these days.  It just isn't funny anymore.

Trump and his supporters have never forgiven Sessions for doing the right thing and recusing himself from the Russia investigation.    Keeping the "I hate Sessions" thing going is entertaining to Trump's fans.  And that is what Trump is most interested in doing -- keeping his fans entertained.

Horse puckies.  Trump didn't do anything for the 2 or so years he had a Republican controlled congress because neither he nor the rest of the Republicans wanted to.  Has nothing to do with the Russia investigation or anything else.  But of course, Trump will never take the blame for his own failures or misdeeds.   It's always someone else's fault.

I'm not going to let you force me to defend him here.   I'm not in the mood and he doesn't need defending.  Just know.... that more and more people are becoming aware of what the rats have been up to .... from the very first day of Trump's presidency and ongoing for the past FOUR PLUS years ...

I don't get that either.  Just as I didnt get Ted Cruz being vilified throughout the 2016 campaign and then boarding the Trump Train.   

Well, I do get that Ted Cruz felt he needed Trump's support to win re-election.  But are these guys masochists or something?  Do they relish the abuse from Trump?   They can bow down and worship Trump all they want, but they will never get anything from him but abuse.

   I really can't fathom that the day will ever come where I am put in a position to Defend Him, though anything is possible in this screwed up world, but I have severely cut back on my attacking him out of deference to one of my Favorite Briefers and she knows who she IS.

Yeah, well.... the last "love of my life" (temporarily, at least...lololol) dared to diss Reagan and defend Clinton once....causing me to walk out on a really good pool game that I was winning.   Needless to say... our "love" would have never withstood the 2000 election fiasco.... so I ended it early before that November.   That was the only liberal I had ever been involved with.... first and definitely last.

So are you going to blame Trump for the DemocRat controlled House not passing any needed legislation due to the FACT that they've been too damned busy trying to overturn the 2016 election?   Of course you are!   I see how you roll.   

Despite the treasonous POS Democrats and RINOs best efforts.... Trump has still brought the economy around and I believe the massive influx of illegals has been controlled.   The Military is being rebuilt and refunded and we are stronger than we ever were under Obama & the rats.   So Trump's successes are being noted and remembered by those that are fair-minded.   Everyone else can go straight to Hell, AFAIC.

I sure am not part of DC, but it seems its a Trump party.  Republican party no longer exists.  So Session seems to be saying yes sir, give me another sir.  I said the other day if he did it I would loose respect for him.  But we need Conservatives.  And everyone that challenges Trump ends up coming back in line with what Trump wants.  Like Lindsey who has opposed decisions just to end up kissing his butt.  So I guess a person would have to be on the scenes in Washington DC to understand the butt kissing method.

What I blame Trump and the Republicans for is that they had the presidency and both houses of congress for 2+ years and didn't do jack -- unless you want to count that so-called tax  reform which did nothing for most people.  And by the way -- when that passed, we were told it was just the beginning and more reform would follow.  What happened to that?

Bottom line is that Trump and the Republicans sat on their fat fannies and coasted for the whole time they were in charge.  It was only when they lost the house did they suddenly come alive and say "we gotta do something about immigration."  Or whatever.  Of course, now without the house, they can't do anything, so what doesn't get done is the fault of the Democrats.
