Sweden: ‘Homemade black powder bomb’ discovered at shopping mall - Voice of EuropeArthur LyonsBomb technicians had to be called out to a shopping mall in Kristianstad late Monday evening after shoppers discovered a homemade explosive device. The incident is just the latest in a long line of recent incidents involving bombs in Sweden. Police discovered the bomb outside of the C4 Shopping Mall at around 21:15 pm, after responding to reports that a suspicious object had been seen in the area, Kristianstadsbladet reports. The national bomb squad was then summoned to the scene to take over the situation. “They came to the scene and disarm a small explosive charge,†said Peter Frostlund, the lead investigator at the Kristianstad police.
