Former national security adviser John Bolton has reportedly inked a $2 million book deal with Simon & Schuster.

Bolton, who left his post after several disagreements with President Trump earlier this year, will now be writing a book, according to the Associated Press.

Bolton was appointed to the position of national security adviser in April 2018 but scrimmaged with the president over foreign policy issues in the ensuing months. Bolton, known to many as a "hawkish" adviser who jumps to military action, publicly feuded with the president before his dismissal.

Particularly critical of Trump's approach to dealing with North Korea, Bolton said, "Every day that goes by makes North Korea a more dangerous country ... You don’t like their behavior today, what do you think it will be when they have nuclear weapons that can be delivered to American cities?"
