TRENTON, NJ (NJ.com) – A man used an extension cord to kill his girlfriend Sunday night in a home in Trenton, authorities said.

Pablo Choc-Caal, 20, was arrested and charged with murder and weapons offenses, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo Onofri said in a news statement.

Trenton EMS responded to a medical call at a home on the 700 block of Anderson Street at about 10:45 p.m. and called police to the scene after finding a woman – later identified as Irma Patrona Ic-Maaz, 18 – on the floor of a second-floor bedroom.

@rangerrebew what is the evidence that supports the OP article title claim that the murderer is an illegal alien? The actual article - and several others I found about this murder - say nothing about the murderer's citizenship/immigration status. Is the clickbait site's "evidence" simply the murderer's "foreign-sounding" name?
