Greta Thunberg Pleads Facebook to Silence Her Critics

Swedish climate change activist Greta Thunberg has now called on Facebook to silence her critics. What happens if they donâ€™t? She has threatened to quit Facebook.

Taken directly from her Facebook post:

I am, like many others, questioning whether I should keep using Facebook or not. Allowing hate speech, the lack of fact checking and of course the issues of interfering with democracyâ€¦are among many, many other things that are very upsetting. The constant lies and conspiracy theories about me and countless of others of course result in hate, death threats and ultimately violence. This could easily be stopped if Facebook wanted to.

I find the lack of taking responsibility very disturbing. But Iâ€™m sure that if they are challenged and if enough of us demand change â€“ then change will come.

I would guess she is well shielded by the "media" of Sweden but she isn't here. There she doesn't have to prove her horse sh*t, here she does. Since she has no proof, she wants to silence people who know vastly more than she.

Greta:

1. Flew from Sweden to New York, on a fossil-fuel burning commercial aircraft, then
2. Took taxis to the U.N. Building.
3. Then she toured the U.S. to fawning crowd oohing and aahing at how wonderful she is, while they too
4. Drove hundreds of thousands of miles to see and hear her, oblivious to their preaching the evils of cars and travel.

I believe I just saw on the news ticker that she's headed for a climate conference in Portugal. She wouldn't be flying, would she? Perhaps she'll walk.

Some old guy is taking her there in his sailboat. I saw an article about this on AOL News a few days ago,with photos.

I do not know if he promised to not throw her overboard,though. I am GUESSING she would not be a congenial guest on a long ocean voyage,and anything can happen on the open sea.
