I don't know if its still part of the Fords Theater tour, but you used to be able to go up to the door leading directly to Lincoln's box, where Booth had drilled a tiny hole some days before the assassination so he could make certain Lincoln was there before bursting in the night he was to kill him. Blood stains are still visible on the pillow of the bed they laid him on across the street.
