Does the good Senator understand Russia doesn't want Iran in Syria?  Does he not know that Putin gave Israel the green light to bomb Iran/Hezbollah targets in Syria at will --- with the only codicil being Israel didn't kill any Russians in the process; and that Israel has been bombing them for years?

Does the good Senator not know that the Turks cannot slaughter the Kurds in Syria because the Kurds have realigned with their country and rejoined the Syrian Army?  Is the good Senator unaware that the Syrians/Kurds and if necessary the Russians will fight together to push back the Turks?  The Kurds are better protected now than they've been in a decade.

is the good Senator an idiot?

@libertybele
@mystery-ak

How many times in the last decade has Turkey invaded Syria with the goal of wiping out the Kurds? The Kurds
were far safer before Trump gave Turkey the OK to invade Syria. I do agree that Kurds making a deal with
Assad is a good thing. "Necessity being the mother of invention".  Obama regeme change war has a dyaster
for the region. Can't blame that on Trump, but Trump never should have sold out the Kurds to Turkey. Very bad.

Let's posit that,  because of the President's action,  going forward not one more American dies in Syria.   Is that a clusterf*ck?

So by extension, you think pulling US forces out of S.Korea border would be a good thing? After all N.Korea only
wants as e0 mile security zone. Seriously if I were S.K. I would not be sleeping well these days. Trump wants a
deal with Kim, will he sell out S.K. like he sold out the Kurds?

Good point.  He sure cozies up to the dictators.

@Jazzhead
Bombing your own anti-ISIS headquarters is a clusterf*ck.  Betraying your allies is a clusterf*ck.  I'm glad Turkey has stopped shooting for 5 days...if the cease fire lasts, but IMO even if no US soldiers are killed in Syria in the future, this was still a tragic clusterf*ck

And add Taiwan to that list of countires that are sh__ing in their pants right now wondering how, when and where Trump throws them to the Chicom wolves.

Looks like Lindsey has folded.  Probably saw that it wasn't going to turn out good for him politically.

Just like I can imagine the conversation between Trump and Mick Mulvaney the other day after he admitted that they held back funds from Ukraine.  Immediate turn around.  LOL!

Lil' Linsey roared like a paper lion and then... turned 180 degrees and got in line with Mr. Trump.

Much sound and fury ... signifying nothing.

Becoming "Trump's worst nightmare" would be aligning with the radical left (commies) faction.   Maybe Little Lindsey isn't quite as stupid as we thought.... ?

Yeah because everyone who isn't liberal is supposed to go along  ****sheep**** with everything little Trumpy decides to do.  Right?  Otherwise they would be  ****sheep**** aligning themselves with the left.  And we couldn't have that.  So if Trump decided to shoot someone on Fifth Avenue I should say it was the right thing to do!

What is the genesis of your passionate hatred of Donald Trump @Chosen Daughter ?  It oozes out of every word you post.

I'm seriously curious what he's triggered in you.

I'm seriously curious what he's triggered in you.

For one he is a liar.  Two he is crass.  Three he is so full of himself it is dangerous.  Like saying he has unmatched wisdom and thinking he can make all the decisions himself.   There are so many that I can't list them all, and its getting longer by the day.  You would think that I would be a Trump supporter being that he ran on securing the border.  But some things are bigger.  What is bigger is being mature and acting like it.  Not hanging allies out to be killed is another.  But it isn't hate.  Its a sense of disbelief.  And anyone can see how he has done it.

How he did it is by government being a total failure.  Neither Democrats or Republicans doing anything for the working people.  It really is quite similar to how Hitler did it.  The people needed someone to care about them.  Well Trump has the support of a large block of Americans who are tired of politicians serving themselves.  And if Trump can get the masses to reject the news sources he has it made.

Key to Donald Trumps success is the "Art of the Deal".  It doesn't matter if he goes on stage and acts like a little child.  If he uses the Lords name in vain.  If he mocks people and acts like a clown.  Its all part of the show and part of the agenda to have someone other than a politician for a President.  So government has to continue to cover for his stupidity.  And we can sit on the edge wondering what will he do next?  Who will he fire, what new investigation or scandal?  Who will be his lawyer and who won't.   And are his children and his private lawyers performing foreign policy that should be taken care of by Secretary of State or Attorney General?  What is Ivanka and Jared up to?

Seems to me everything you have just accused Trump of ... you can justifiably and truthfully accuse the Democrats of.... and then some.

What makes it even worse is the Christians who don't call him out on anything.  Even though he accepts all the prayers from every influential minister in the U.S. its OK to G D on stage.  Its alright to make fun of people.  To not act like an adult.  Yes, God can use anyone.  Maybe he is using Trump to punish us.

I've commented on this too, he says things. Let's say he said that peace treaty was going to save millions of lives, really? Millions?

I think he exaggerates and embellishes more than trying to be deceitful.

As of now, I think the election would be Warren vs. Trump,

I'm very disappointed with this in Syria.

I think even a greater "existential" threat is China to the whole American way of life.

So, I'd really have to deeply look at things, this in Syria could get much worse.  Based on that decision, I wouldn't vote for Trump but the election is more than one issue but this decision is so terrible. I think Romney is getting at, can we even have someone in the White House who would make (from what we know) such a bad decision.  There might be some important things we don't know about. I have to say that. I hope the voter can find out more.

A lot of things can happen between now and November 2020, I was just going to discard this post but I'll post it as is.

Seriously, it sounds like emotional clap trap to me.

Bringing our troops home does NOT mean that they will never be redeployed to another area ever again.  If you really "thought" that, I don't know what to tell ya.  Seek help.

The reality is... our troops will always be redeployed where they are most needed.     Hopefully, since it's Trump vs. a typical anti-military azhole leftie, they will be sent somewhere where they won't get slaughtered via unfair ROEs and somewhere that advances the best interests of America vs. America's enemies.

As for that Trump above all humanity bit, I don't know what the hell you're talking about.   Care to explain and/or elaborate?

I really do believe that Trump is the guy for such a time as this.  When fear can replace faith.  When Americans are so worried about what the Democrats can do that they need a savior other than Jesus.  Time to make up false prophesies that Trump is the next King Cyrus.
