Equal time to question the witness???   That would mean that they would actually know who the witness is, wouldn't it?   

I believe every witness who has been deposed by the committee has been named.  When and if the whistle blowers testify maybe we will have discovered their identity.  Schiff says the whistle-blower testimony might be unnecessary.

Which still shoots down your previous comment "Congressional Depositions where Republican committee members and Democrat committee members are allotted equal time to question the witness."... since the MAIN witness....ie ""whistleblower"" is not being allowed to be questioned by the Republicans.   I rest my case.

The problem is that there are about a dozen Reps that don't want to be on record voting for impeachment, since they are in districts of states that went for Trump. It will put them in  a precarious position for re-election.

Levin suggested the rats are using this kangaroo court to build something that resembles a case & drive public opinion, then launch the actual impeachment proceeding, if their plan comes together, when things hit a critical mass.

Unthinkable without a cooperative media on board with them.

I think it's clear that time is about a year from now.  The only question I have is if they'll pull the trigger in the House before or after election day.  It certainly needs to be close, to drum up as much drama as possible going into Nov 2020.

I don't think the rats would vote to impeach Trump after the election.  If Trump loses they don't need to vote they can go straight to criminal charges in Jan 2021.  If Trump wins, impeaching immediately after the voters said "Trump's my guy" would be stupid.  Only if Trump wins and the rats lose the House, can I foresee impeachment purely out of spite, but they would have a harder time holding the rat majority together for the vote.
