Saw it.  Shameful.  Using dead and injured soldiers to sell his arranged invasion of Syria.  He laid it on so thick you could have cut it.

This was no troop withdrawal.  This was a withdrawal to allow an invasion by Turkey.  An arrangement that will lead to the deaths of God knows how many and the displacement of all those people.  I would support a troop withdrawal, but not as an arrangement with Turkey to get out of the way for ethnic cleansing.  A withdrawal because the area had stabilized.  Or, ISIS really was 100% gone.

Ask yourself why was it important to defeat ISIS and now it isn't?  It isn't important at all because Trump doesn't care that ISIS will be freed.

He gave his approval.

There is something profoundly disturbing watch the president of the United States, the most powerful person on earth, taunt and mock the son of his political rival and use obscenities, to the boisterous cheers of an adoring crowd.

Oh, but, nothing at all disturbing about an illegal FBI, CIA, DNC, OBAMA DOJ, MEDIA conspiracy to set up Trump for a political “hit job,” risk destabilizing geopolitics, bankrupt and ruin innocent Americans lives, disenfranchise 65 million voters and put the nation through spasms of violence and the administration through HELL!?

I started to watch it and after listening to Pence I tuned out.  Pence's speech was lackluster and IMHO insincere and when he started commenting on the wall he lost my attention.  They are rebuilding and repairing existing wall, very little new wall is being built and our southern border Mr. Pence is NOT secure by any means. Eric's speech was worse. My father ... blah blah blah ... we love you ... another lackluster speech that came across insincere.

This was not Pence's finest speech ... he's given much better, IMO.  But POTUS also spoke about the wall @libertybele   He had a little more to say ---   

"We had to use the greatest patchwork of financing in history... but that sucker is going up  and it's the finest, strongest wall there is.  It's steel, it's concrete, it's deep,  .... it's a thing of beauty and it's going to keep bad people out of our country!"
