Trump says Fox News 'doesn't deliver for US anymore' after poll shows rising impeachment support

President Trump said on Thursday that Fox News "doesn't deliver for US anymore" after the network's latest poll showed growing support for his impeachment and removal from office.

"From the day I announced I was running for President, I have NEVER had a good @FoxNews Poll," Trump tweeted. "Whoever their Pollster is, they suck. But @FoxNews is also much different than it used to be in the good old days."


A Fox poll released Wednesday found 51 percent of respondents supported Trump's impeachment and removal from office. Four percent of participants said the president should be impeached but not removed, and 40 percent were completely against impeachment.

Fox News never was "fair and balanced." as its advertising slogan claimed.  True, it presented more of the conservative side than any of the other networks, but there was always a slant.  Since 2016 the network slobbered all over Trump, his claims to the contrary notwithstanding.  Now that the honeymoon is over, Trump is saying Fox was never fair to him.  Hogwash!

The words "deliver for us" implies some kind of payment for being in his corner.

Of course, they were, and still are, but I guess not enough for whatever benefits they got from him for being his lackeys.

I read it that way too, but then wondered if "US" was short for United States" (Twitter shorthand).  Expecting any new organization to "deliver" for him, personally is really poor form.

Fox, when it started, was a breath of fresh air in a smog of ABCBSNBCPBS-WP-NYT.  They were actually a reason why people paid money for cable TV.  An actual alternative to the MSM with new ideas and ways of seeing problems at a time when the MSM had lost most of their credibility.  Now Fox is little more than a Whitehouse propaganda distributor, and suffering from their own credibility problem...not the least of which is blowback from the cult45 viewership who get easily confused when Fox reports negative Trump news.
