So, you didn't actually read the (5 page) transcript, because that's not what it says.
Yes it does.
@Sanguine
https://www.cbsnews.com/news/read-the-transcript-summary-president-trump-call-with-ukrainian-president-volodomyr-zelensky/

Zelensky: Yes you are absolutely right. Not only 100%, but actually 1000% and I can tell you the following; I did talk to Angela Merkel and I did meet with her I also met and talked with Macron and I told them that they are not doing quite as much as they need to be doing on the issues with the sanctions. They are not enforcing the sanctions. They are not working as much as they should work for Ukraine. It turns out that even though logically, the European Union should be our biggest partner but technically the United States is a much bigger partner than the European Union and I'm very grateful to you for that because the United States is doing quite a lot for Ukraine. Much more than the European Union especially when we are talking about sanctions against the Russian Federation. I would also like to thank you for your great support in the area of defense. We are ready to continue to cooperate for the next steps specifically we are almost ready to buy more Javelins from the United States for defense purposes.

Trump: I would like you to do us a favor though because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it. I would like you to find out what happened with this whole situation with Ukraine, they say Crowdstrike ... I guess you have one of your wealthy people... The server, they say Ukraine has it. There are a lot of things that went on, the whole situation. I think you're surrounding yourself with some of the same people. I would like to have the Attorney General call you or your people and I would like you to get to the bottom of it. As you said yesterday, that whole nonsense ended with a very poor performance by a man named Robert Mueller, an incompetent performance, but they say a lot of it started with Ukraine. Whatever you can do, it's very important that you do it if that's possible.

Zelensky: Yes it is very important for me and everything that you just mentioned earlier. For me as a President, it is very important and we are open for any future cooperation. We are ready to open a new page on cooperation in relations between the United States and Ukraine. For that purpose, I just recalled our ambassador from United States and he will be replaced by a very competent and very experienced ambassador who will work hard on making sure that our two nations are getting closer. I would also like and hope to see him having your trust and your confidence and have personal relations with you so we can cooperate even more. I will personally tell you that one of my assistants spoke with Mr. Giuliani just recently and we are hoping very much that Mr. Giuliani will be able to travel to Ukraine and we will meet once he comes to Ukraine. I just wanted to assure you once again that you have nobody but friends around us. I will make sure that I surround myself with the best and most experienced people. I also wanted to tell you that we are friends. We are great friends and you Mr. President have friends in our country so we can continue our strategic partnership. I also plan to surround myself with great people and in addition to that investigation, I guarantee as the President of Ukraine that all the investigations will be done openly and candidly. That I can assure you.

Trump: Good because I heard you had a prosecutor who was very good and he was shut down and that's really unfair. A lot of people are talking about that, the way they shut your very good prosecutor down and you had some very bad people involved. Mr. Giuliani is a highly respected man. He was the mayor of New York City, a great mayor, and I would like him to call you. I will ask him to call you along with the Attorney General. Rudy very much knows what's happening and he is a very capable guy. If you could speak to him that would be great. The former ambassador from the United States, the woman was bad news and the people she was dealing with in the Ukraine were bad news so I just want to let you know that. The other thing, There's a lot of talk about Biden's son, that Biden stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if you can look into it...It sounds horrible to me.

You have now read it.  I see "the whistle blower complaint matches the WH transcript.  Ukraine wants defensive weapons against Russia.  President Zelensky asks for them and President Trump says "I would like you to do us a favor though."  Yet the President says the whistleblower distorted the facts ( lie #1 ) and there is no quid pro quo ( lie #2 )."  Why do you not see this too please?

Because that conversation is not as crystal clear as when Joe Biden said, “...so, I told the Ambassador, listen if you don’t fire the prosecutor by the time I leave here—what’s that, like 6 hours?—you’re not getting the money.”

“Well, son of a bitch if he didn’t fire the guy!”

That’s why.

Nope, not a quid pro quo there.  You can interpret it with prejudice, as you have, but that doesn't mean that is actually a quid pro quo.  You know if this went to court as a criminal case, it would be thrown out.  So don't present as fact that which you wish to interpret the way you want it to be.

From my point of view the whistle blower complaint matches the WH transcript.  Ukraine wants defensive weapons against Russia.  President Zelensky asks for them and President Trump says "I would like you to do us a favor though."  Yet the President says the whistleblower distorted the facts ( lie #1 ) and there is no quid pro quo ( lie #2 ).

First of all.... asking for a "favor" is not quid pro quo.

Secondly, there is a treaty that defines cooperation between the US and Ukraine when it comes to dealing with and/or investigating corruption.  Trump was merely adhering to that treaty, signed by Clinton.

Thirdly, it doesn't matter how anti-Trumpers "interpret" the call via their ssdd creative reading comprehension.   The facts are the facts.   No ceegar, IOW.

Very True.  President Trump's future Impeachment is dependent on how the Pelosi run House of Representatives interprets the call.

Well.... the fact that Pelosi hasn't already officially started that impeachment trial may point to the fact that the idiot left Democrats have nothing substantial as evidence to use against Trump.   All they have is innuendo, implications, creative reading interpretations, vagaries and other unsubstantiated hearsay and rumors (ie throwing their typical crap against the wall and hoping it sticks).  Which I call their usual and ssdd bull$hit.

I guess a US president cannot ask 'as a favor' a foreign leader to investigate corruption within their country involving US politicians anymore.

The president's critics are veritable magicians - they can make an impeachable case out of anything.

Their double standards and dishonesty are, as always, stunning.... since if it's a DemocRat president or VP, nothing they do is inappropriate to them.

Let's face it.   The rats were already angry.  Now they're feeling cornered and are frothing.   They're afraid that all of their corruption is about to be exposed.  I doubt that they have anything to fret about (color me cynical about that justice served bit).

So, you didn't actually read the (5 page) transcript, because that's not what it says.

Why would he start now, and ruin his unblemished record?

@XenaLee

The angry doesn't matter. If you are a Dim,you are,by nature,angry every day about something.

Like other simple creatures,they are not dangerous until they are scared,and they are terrified right now. They never believed Trump had a chance of winning the first time,so they didn't take him seriously. Then once he did win,they figured he was a simple fellow with no knowledge about politics or how how that scam is ran,so they figured they could confuse and dazzle him,and end up leading him around by the nose,and the  pointing out what a fool he is when he ran for re-election. They probably also suspected a lot of professional Republicans would do the same thing so many Dims did when the R's took over control of the US Senate for the first time in 40's years,and switch parties to keep their power.

Instead Trump was NOT scared,and after a lifetime of having to pay bribes to Dim officials in NYC to get them to do what they were already being paid to do,he has no love for Dims. He ended up eating their lunches.

Now they are mad AND desperate,and I honestly don't think they have a clue about what they should do to hold onto what little power they still have. Hell,they are having a hard time holding on to their own party as the radical leftists they supported in order to gain votes didn't turn into the docile "field hands" they expected them to be,but called press conferences and announced they were challenging the Dim leadership. Their Master Plan to maintain power turned into a suicide pact once the AA candidates they supported gained office,and all THAT makes them dangerous.

BUT....,if you are still a NT'er,don't let any of this  bother your pointy little head. You just go ahead and vote for your mother in law to "show them outsiders (non-RINO's) that we can't be ignored because "dammit,people like us and we ARE important to our masters!" Or some other brain fart currently popular amongst petulant children.

If all else fails you NT'ers can always stamp your little feets and hold your breath until you turn blue.

Ditto. (And I didn’t even have to do any writing, re-writing, editing or searching for the perfect emoji to express frustration and my own disappointment in republican neverTrumpers. Leftist democrats, I understand—sorta. But, republicans, who won’t or can’t discern what’s at stake...we’ll, that’s asking too much.
