Sasse breaks with Trump's call for probe: 'Americans don't look to Chinese commies for the truth'

Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) pushed back strongly on Thursday night against President Trump's suggestion that the Chinese government investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden.
 
"Hold up: Americans don’t look to Chinese commies for the truth. If the Biden kid broke laws by selling his name to Beijing, that’s a matter for American courts, not communist tyrants running torture camps," Sasse said in a statement to the Omaha World-Herald.
 

A spokesman for Sasse didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.
 
Sasse's remarks mark the strongest pushback from a Senate Republican since Trump on Thursday publicly encouraged Ukraine and China should look into the Bidens.

The optics are clear, the Bidens took bribes from the Communists in China, and that is wrong if not illegal.  One need not be a genius to figure this out.  So where does the truth come from?  There is no harm asking China what gives?

We already know that Biden has been bought by China.  His comment that China is not a competitor of the USA is reflective of that very fact.  Biden is owned by China.  When the American people think through this, they will not want Biden as dog catcher.  This self serving nonsense is exactly what every key person in the Obama Administration was doing.  Clinton with her $145 million bribe from Russia.

Trump asking for an investigation is perfectly within his right as POTUS.    Trump's failure was not doing this with every Dem, particularly Hillary and Bill Clinton.

Anyone citing Ben Sasse, Mitt Romney or Justin Amash...is little more than a useful idiot tool of the Left. These men are acting a long sought political/personal vengeance against the President with no regard for the truth, for the constitution, or for the future of the Republic.
