Congresswoman Ilhan Omar files for divorce from her husband, months after moving into luxury penthouse apartment and her relationship with her married campaign strategist was revealed
    * Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar, 38, filed for divorce from her husband Ahmed Hirsi, the father of her three children, on Friday
    * The two were married in 2002, split in 2008, and were remarried in 2018
    * During their separation, Omar married British-born Ahmed Elmi in 2009 - but had a child with Hirsi in 2012 - divorcing Elmi in 2017 
    * Omar's most recent divorce comes after DailyMail.com revealed in July that the couple split and Omar had moved into a penthouse apartment in Minneapolis
    * The news also follows DailyMail.com revealing that Omar was carrying on with her then-married aide Tim Mynett
    * The two were seen on a romantic dinner date back in March and Mynett's doctor wife Beth filed for divorce from her much younger husband in August
    * After their relationship was revealed, Omar was accused of illegally using campaign cash to pay for her 'lover' to travel with her
    * Omar paid Mynett's company more than $250K in consulting fees and travel expenses within a year, records show

Hmmm... @IlhanMN
 believes in Sharia Law and wants it in America but under Sharia, her husband would be able to do an "honor killing" and she would be dead.  No woman is truly PRO Sharia as it's complete bondage.

Really. Shouldn't an adulteress be stoned to death (or something) by the upstanding men of her Muslim community, persuant to their laws and customs?

Her boyfriend's divorce is in the works:

 According to Beth Mynett’s divorce papers, the couple separated in April after Tim Mynett acknowledged he was in a romantic relationship with Omar.

Ilhan Omar filed for divorce 5 weeks after she looked a reporter in the eye and said on camera Aug. 27 that she was not separated.  Despite photos published by the Daily Mail in July showing that she moved out of the family house and into an apartment.

And, of course, the D.C. divorce filing of her campaign consultant in which that guy's wife said he was leaving her because of an affair with Omar. And Omar swearing under penalty of perjury in her last divorce that she DIDN'T KNOW THE NAMES OF ANY OF HER HUSBAND'S FAMILY.

NEW Ilhan Omar update:

I've got @IlhanMN's divorce petition here. It's noteworthy not due to its contents, but due to its apparently hasty filing.

Ilhan Omar, per my sources, had been so intent on stopping her husband from filing for divorce most of this year that she reportedly had asked Minneapolis City Councilwoman Alondra Cano to fire him from his aide position. @IlhanMN's motivation was apparently to keep Hirsi reliant upon her for income: https://pjmedia.com/davidsteinberg/ilhan-omars-husband-no-longer-works-for-minneapolis-councilwoman-sources-say-omar-asked-for-him-to-be-fired/

But this Friday, Ilhan Omar apparently decided that a divorce from Hirsi needed to happen immediately -- so much so that she couldn't wait a few days to return from her overseas trip*.   She filed the divorce petition from ... Ouagadougou!

You can assume something occurred that spurred @IlhanMN's change of plans.

Also noteworthy from her petition: More apparent perjury. "Wife has not been known by other names." As I have published, she was reportedly "Ilhan Nur Said Elmi" prior to being brought to the US.
