Embarrassed? Network News Fail to Report Climate Extremists Shutting Down D.C. Streets

While the liberal broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) were busy fawning over the bitter ranting of radical climate teen Greta Thunberg at the United Nations on Monday, they completely ignored her cohorts in Washington, D.C. staging an illegal protest to shut down the city’s major traffic arteries, resulting in an all-day traffic nightmare in the nation’s capital.
“The President's critics say he does not take the threat of climate change seriously enough if at all. So, environmental activists decided to draw attention to the issue by shutting down, and I mean completely shutting down traffic here in the nation's capital,†Fox News anchor Bret Baier said during Special Report with a hint of frustration in his tone.
Correspondent Ellison Barber took over from there and shared what she saw while on scene at the illegal protest. “Hundreds of climate activists shut down at least four major intersections in Washington, D.C., disrupting the morning commute for thousands. Some chained themselves to ladders, others used metal pipes and wires to lock onto a painted sailboat a few blocks away from the White House,†she reported.
