Felicity Huffman was sentenced Friday to 14 days in prison for her involvement in the college admissions scandal case but the facility where she may do her time has raised a few eyebrows.
The actress, who also was sentenced to 250 hours of community service and ordered to pay a $20,000 fine, requested to serve out her time at FCI Dublin, California. According to her legal team, the correctional institution was closest to her home. But if the request is granted, Huffman is likely to have an easier time than she would in other lockups.
For starters, the institution has a "beauty shop" on its premises where inmates can have their hair done, according to an inmate admission and orientation handbook.
There are sundecks where inmates can sunbathe and the housing units are equipped with microwaves, hot water dispensers, ice machines, irons, hairdryers, curling irons, and exercise equipment.
