ILHAN PANICS! MN Democrat Deletes 2013 Tweet Overnight After She Is Caught Exposing Marriage to Her Brother

New evidence has emerged that Rep. Ilhan Omar did indeed marry her brother, and that her real name may actually be Ilhan Nur Said.

A resurfaced tweet from 2013 links to a now-deleted Instagram post in which she refers to her father by the name Nur Said.

The tweet was later deleted this morning after the news broke!
 

But it was saved before it was deleted…

I researched this some time ago, it wasn't secret like this article title suggests - the writer(s) did not do research. Here is what happened (this part is not on Wikipedia):

She was born in Mogadishu, Somalia.  I'm skipping the family's movements due to the war there.  A friendly family was coming to the US, and took her with them (age about 10 as I think it was). They changed her last name to their last name so it appeared she was their daughter. This is why her last name has been confusing.

Her family left back in Kenya where they had gone to get out of war, went to England.  Therefore, her brother was in England and wanted to come to the US.  She was married at the time but it was not recorded, so it appeared she was single.  She married her brother in absentia in order to get him to the US.  After he arrived, he preferred living in another state, so he was not living with her.  The marriage was only to get him to the US. A divorce was obtained. 

If there was a way,by marriage, to get one of your family members to the US, would you do it?

Uh, no.  Would you have married your father to bring him to the U.S. fraudulently?

In any event, why does the answer to that question even matter at all?  If she married her brother to get him to the U.S., it's immigration fraud under U.S. law regardless of whether some other people might have done the same thing or not.  Further, we know that a lot of people who have immigrated here legally then attempt to get their parents and/or other relatives in here lawfully, no matter how long that may take, without marrying them to defraud the United States.

Would depend on where the father was.  If he was in North Korea and feared for his life, we couldn't wait years to legally get him here, I would marry him in absentia to save his life, get him here.

Not this way.  I would not engage in a sham marriage to my sister in order to commit immigration fraud.  This is apparently what happened with this Congresswoman.

She's a fake, a liar, a fraud and a criminal.  In other words, she's a typical leftist Democrat.   And now she's in Congress.... which is rewarding bad behavior, yet another hallmark of leftism.   Many folks trying to escape 'real and true' persecution or danger might have done what she did... but to then run for Congress and have the ballz to "represent" legal non-criminal citizens.... not to mention having sworn to uphold the US Constitution...?  Hell no.   She should be driven out of DC for that and for her other criminal activities and siding with terrorists... not just for her blatant anti-Semite bigotry.

I'll take a stab at it. 

Around here (AZ) the process is like this.  First, obtain a Marriage License from the courthouse.  Next, take it to a Chapel and get married.  The officiating Minister and witnesses sign the license.  Last, take the filled out license back to the courthouse to file. 

I assume it's that last step the dear Congressrat didn't do. :shrug:

1. You don't have to register the marriage.  If you don't register it, you are not legally married by law and can't take advantage of any marriage benefits you would have if legally married which means recorded at the county courthouse.

2. If married by a church minster, he may register the marriage at the courthouse for the couple - or not, if the couple does it themselves.  They are legally married according to church teachings, but not legally married by state law until registered at the courthouse. 

3.  A very large Muslim mosque is in the greater Dallas area.  They marry their people and consider them legally married by their faith.  They live according to Sharia law but if they want legal benefits of marriage, they still have to register the marriage at the courthouse. 

Basically, you are married in your mind, when both of you want to be married to each other. That is when the marriage starts.  The rest is window dressing.

Perfectly stated, "The rest is window dressing."  That Congressrat's entire marriage history is nothing but window dressing.  She treats the laws governing marriage with as much aplomb as she treats all the rest of our laws.
