How likely is Biden to make it all the way to the Dem convention? Many more episodes like the verbal gaffes and bloody eyeballs,  and Jill will have to abandon her flotus hopes.

Think about it, though.

Pretty much all Joe Biden is or ever has been is a politician. 36 years in the Senate, 8 years as Vice President. He hasn't not been in a government position since 1969. If he's going to go out, he's going to go out doing what he loves... politics. And that means he's going to ride this frontrunner status as long as he can.

You both nailed it. Anyone who has observed Jill Biden during the Obama Presidency can not help but be aware to the degree that she longs to be FLOTUS. She saw first hand the rose petals tossed Michelle's way, how her words received national attention, the perks and free travel she received. Jill craves it, to the detriment of her husband's health and well being.

I find the possibility that Joe Biden could actually be the next President to be very unsettling.
