January 14th:

A member of the Australian DefenaA membee Force picks up an injured Koala after it was treated for burns at a makeshift field hospital at the Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park on Kangaroo Island.

January 15th:

Kangaroo and wallaby joeys that have been orphaned due to road accidents, dog attacks, bushfires and drought conditions are seen in a cart as they are treated at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital in Beerwah, Queensland, Australia.
