Ocasio-Cortez mocks Boston 'Straight Pride Parade' over lack of women

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) on Saturday called out participants in Boston's "Straight Pride Parade," saying it should have been called the “I-Struggle-With-Masculinity” parade.

"For men who are allegedly so 'proud' of being straight, they seem to show real incompetence at attracting women to their event," Ocasio-Cortez said in a tweet accompanied by a video showing marchers. "Seems more like a 'I-Struggle-With-Masculinity' parade to me."

"Hope they grow enough over the next year to support / join LGBTQ family next #Pride," the freshman lawmaker added.

Maybe not. Knew a girl in college who was crazy about gay guys. She wanted to be in all their clubs and meetings. She wanted to go to gay bars. When she saw a table of homosexuals, she would walk over and sit with them. It was an obsession. She wasn't gay, though she was likely bisexual. She only wanted to be with gay men. She liked to do they same stuff that they like. I think maybe her secret fantasy was to be a gay man. It doesn't make sense I know. But I saw it first hand. Just because AOC has a boyfriend does not necessarily mean that they are both straight.
