U.S. Army Infantry units fight door-to-door in Close-Quarter-Combat in high-threat urban environments, advance through wooded, rocky terrain to maneuver to contact and “close with the enemy,†and at times conduct reconnaissance missions behind enemy lines to secretly gather intelligence or disrupt enemy operations.
