I've seen the video, with plenty of context before and after. Stelter had an in-studio guest and Frances was remote. Stelter led off with his in-studio guest. Then Frances started, in split-screen. At one point Stelter grunted agreement with something Frances had just said - "perfect" timing, Stelter heard him. Then Frances was full screen for his extended rant, during which the was no audible indication in the background of anything not going OK technically. Then, when the video returned to split-screen, neither Stelter nor his in-studio guest gave any verbal or visible indication that anything had gone awry, and Stelter asked Frances a question based on something Frances had just said. At no point was Frances ever asked to repeat something because it had not been heard.
Yeah, I paid attention to the whole dumping of Frances' load-of-crap including the lead-in and immediately afterward just to see if there was even a slight indication that Stelter's claim might be true.
Stelter's claim of a technical problem only during Frances' rant is, at best, not credible. I suspect his manglement knows the truth, unless the technoid people Stelter hypo-vehiculated voluntarily stayed under the bus.
