Perhaps those here have not heard Scaramucci speak in the past few days. Here is why he compared Trump to Jim Jones, the cult leader, in regard to those who work in White House.
Those under the "spell" of Jim Jones, began to realize he had taken away all their possessions, plus their freedom of speech. They were afraid to speak up about what Jim Jones was doing, afraid he would kill them. They were afraid to leave for the same reason; they would be killed.
Scaramucci said those in the White House know Trump has a mental problem; they see it. They are living with this knowledge and won't speak up knowing they would be fired and hurt by Trump anyway he could hurt them. They won't quit their job either, knowing anyone who leaves Trump will get the same treatment. This is why Scaramucci compared Trump to Jim Jones and said there is a hostage situation in the White House; the workers are afraid to speak up and afraid to leave.
