    11 August 2019

Two men have been charged with a public order offence connected to an Arsenal player, police have said.

Ferhat Ercan, of Highgate, and Salaman Ekinci, of Tottenham, were arrested on Thursday outside the north London home of Gunners star Mesut Ozil.

Ozil and Sead Kolasinac were not in Arsenal's squad for Sunday's Premier League opener at Newcastle due to "further security incidents".

This sounds political, here's why.

Those names are surely Turk or somewhere in that neighborhood.  Pretty bad, I was aware that there was some incident with Ozil about 6 weeks ago, where some crooks tried to carjack his vehicle or something like that. That last paragraph "further security incidents"... now, I know for a fact, the Turk Ozil is in good relations with Erdogan,  even going to Ozil's wedding. This could well have something to do with that BUT... Ozil is a German Turk.

That's all pretty bad.
