Man charged in Las Vegas over bomb-making materials

A Las Vegas security guard has been charged after bomb-making materials were found in his home and he promoted white supremacist ideologies online, the Department of Justice says.

Conor Climo, 23, had been discussing attacking a synagogue and "conducting surveillance" on a bar he believed catered to the LGBT community.

A notebook was found allegedly containing plans for attacks.

A whole litany on this jerk at the article... unbelievable, not good news either. And only 23, how could someone have such a warped view at that young age?? He sounded like he was very dangerous.

All of this, no matter which side it comes from, has a common thread:

BLAME SOMEONE (else!)

No one is willing to take responsibility for their own actions, their own situation, and it is far easier for the mentally lazy and intellectually dishonest to blame someone else and hate them than own up to their own errors and fix them instead.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Wait! Trump's FBI arrested a white supremacist terrorist-wannabe? I thought they they didn't do such things?
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

A 23-year-old Las Vegas man who allegedly wanted to attack Jews and patrons of an LGBTQ bar was arrested on suspicion of possessing parts to make a bomb, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Nevada said Friday.

Conor Climo, who was arrested Thursday, was connected to white supremacists though encrypted online conversations, federal prosecutors said.

"Threats of violence motivated by hate and intended to intimidate or coerce our faith-based and LGBTQ communities have no place in this country," Nicholas A. Trutanich, U.S. Attorney for the District of Nevada, said in a statement.

After Climo's arrest, FBI agents said he told them he had acquired electronic components to build a bomb and that he wanted to mobilize an eight-man sniper platoon to shoot Jewish people either at a Las Vegas synagogue or some other location.  ... NBC News

A story like this demonstrates that no matter what kind of stupid laws the DC gang comes up with to take away firearms, there will always be some crackpot with some alternative method of killing plenty of the people he or she doesn't like.  A bomb is one way.  So is driving a truck though a crowd of people.  Or maybe driving a truck full of explosives through a crowd of people.  Terrorists, particularly in the Middle East, have been using alternative methods of mass murder for years now.  It's not without the realm if possibility that any malcontent (not necessarily an ISIS member or ISIS wannabe) would employ the same methods.

Bombs are much harder to successfully put together and more chancy than are firearms.

The simple fact of the matter is that getting rid of all privately owned firearms would reduce the overall number of violent deaths.  Would-be killers would not simply switch to bombs with the same efficiency.

It’s a fact.  Whether that means guns should be confiscated, or whether the higher death toll is acceptable is a political decision, and not one that I am taking a position on.

Taking away guns from the law abiding will not stop psychos intent on mass murder, they have many options other than guns and bombs. Seems to me that in Japan individuals did quite well with knives, and then there are cars and trucks, fire, poison.......... Bottom line is you just can't stop crazy if you refuse to acknowledge it and take it out of the general public.

It’s a fact.

It is also a fallacy. You cannot get rid of all privately owned firearms, and the more you try, the more firearm owners will be winnowed down to the criminal element, until, under the grievous weight of a jackbooted government, the balance will be met. Then only the criminal government and the criminal population will own guns.

That is as close to your utopian concept as you will ever get - As history attests.

Because they don't think about sitting on 1/4 of the world's oil supply, not to mention a huge amount of fiscal involvement in everything right up to FOX news means the Muslims have any influence on world events, I guess.
They're just looking for someone to blame.

If "Da Jooooos" really controlled everything like these nitwits think, the Muslims would be out of business.
