 Portland Mayor Believes Lack Of Action Against Antifa Sends No Message

Several weeks ago, journalist Andy Ngo was assaulted by members of Antifa on the streets of Portland. He was beaten and had milkshakes thrown at him, some possibly containing dangerous additives.

In the past, Antifa has been given a pass by the city of Portland. The police seem to allow them to do whatever they want, reportedly due to the mayor’s order for them to stand down during the protest where Ngo was attacked. It wasn’t the first time the mayor had allowed Antifa to have their way, either.

Now, following the wake of Ngo’s assault, the mayor thinks that the fact that the police seem to have done so little to ID Ngo’s attackers sends no message at all to the rest of the nation.

In his pre-political life was this guy a microbiologist?  A nuclear physicist?  A rocket scientist?  Wow, what a piece of intelligence!!  Too bad he wasn't this brilliant for Andy Ngo got the crap beaten out of him by ANTIFA in Portland while he ordered the police to do nothing about it. :facepalm2:

So in the weird way that the Portland city government is set up...this Milquetoast Mayor they have is also the Police Commissioner for Portland as well.

Tells you a lot about why Antifa has been allowed to run wild there.

I don't know if they're filming any more episodes of "Portlandia", but maybe Fred Armisen should do a few episodes on the Antifa presence/infestation in the city.  See if he could find anything humorous about people getting assaulted by leftist thugs.

President Trump said Saturday that he was watching "very closely" as Portland, Ore., braces for dueling far-right and antifa protests planned for this weekend.

In a tweet, the president wrote that he was still considering declaring antifa, an anti-fascism group, a terrorist organization.

"Major consideration is being given to naming ANTIFA an “ORGANIZATION OF TERROR.” Portland is being watched very closely. Hopefully the Mayor will be able to properly do his job!" Trump tweeted.
