Rep. Castro's Attempt to Shame Trump Supporters Backfires

2019-08-07 Source: TTN by: TTN Staff

Texas Democrat Representative Joaquin Castro tried to shame Trump donors by publishing their information. The information is public, but this move was at the least, distasteful.

The move backfired however when Castro revealed the name of one of his donors who also donated to the president.

According to Fox News:

EXCLUSIVE: Trump donors whose names and employers were posted in a highly controversial tweet by Democratic Rep. Joaquin Castro blasted the Texas congressman on Wednesday for what they described as a “ridiculous” stunt and, in interviews with Fox News, rejected his claim that they are “fueling a campaign of hate” against Hispanics.

The count is up to 6 of his or his brother's donors.

His "Joaquin Castro, Super Genius" business cards should arrive later today.

HAhahaha!   Yet another Jussie Smollett Democrat "genius".   Love it.

I have news for Steves.   By election day, Castro is going to have a helluva lot more than "44" people helping whoever will be running against him.
Time for unity in America! (better late than never)

There is a reason that Castro, who used to be on the Democrat Leadership team as  Chief Deputy Whip, is no longer in that position.

And I think we see now see why, as even the Democrats do not like his tactics.

Joaquin didn't do his brother who is running any favors ... quite comical actually.  happy77
"I believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes. I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey it laws; to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies." -William Page

That's two solid facts.
Don't call it the "Federal Government," that's an insult to the Founders.  It's a "National Government."
I will NOT comply.

1944 Socialist Party Candidate for President Norman Thomas

@Bigun

Do you know when he said it?

Schlapp repeatedly pressed Cuomo to “name the crime” that would be listed on the articles of impeachment for President Donald Trump. “There’s no need for a crime,” Cuomo responded.

I don't have the exact date and time but it was reported that he said it in a speech delivered somewhere during the 1944 campaign.  The Norman Thomas High School in Manhattan and the Norman Thomas ‘05 Library at Princeton University’s Forbes college are named after him. He was also the grandfather of Newsweek columnist Evan Thomas.
