Ford Escape, 2009.

ETA:  Mrs. Liberty and I debated taking the car with us when we moved earlier this year, and we decided to bring it to the Castle (towed behind a U-haul).

Okay so a hybrid, not all electric then.

Correct, but the article applies to me (even though it says it doesn't, but it does in every way that's important to me:  That battery is gonna die).
For unvaccinated, we are looking at a winter of severe illness and death — if you’re unvaccinated — for themselves, their families, and the hospitals they’ll soon overwhelm. Sloe Joe Biteme 12/16

Just replace it with a bigger gas tank....

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I don't know how much you have researched it already, but some of those Escapes are going over 200,000 miles on the original battery.  And the hybrid battery is going to be ~$4,000 plus labor.  Some are doing the change out themselves.  I believe it is not that bad of a job if you are interested in that sort of thing.
