With the news that her chief of staff/handler abruptly resigned amid a federal probe, it’s beginning to look as if Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s act is finally beginning to wear on people — the remarkable thing being that it took this long.
So much so that even Guy Benson, one of the more measured conservative pundits, called her “a nonstop demagogic clown show.â€
The democratic socialist lawmaker from New York has been in office for seven months, and what an eventful seven months it has been. The latest antics from the 29-year-old former bartender was seen on Monday, when she said President Trump’s immigration rhetoric was “directly responsible†for the mass shooting in El Paso, Texas, that left at least 22 people dead, according to The Hill.
