Trump on El Paso shooting: We must condemn white supremacy

President Trump on Monday called on the nation to condemn white supremacy in the aftermath of a deadly shooting in El Paso, Texas allegedly carried out by a gunman who posted an anti-immigrant manifesto.

“The shooter in El Paso posted a manifesto online consumed with racist hate,” Trump said during remarks inside the Diplomatic Room of the White House.

“In one voice, our nation must condemn bigotry, hatred and white supremacy," he said. "These sinister ideologies must be defeated.”

Trump also said federal law enforcement agencies would receive “whatever they need” in order to crack down on white nationalists.

I heard him condemn white supremacist, which I have no problem with however the Hill slipped in white
nationalist. The left is once again trying to steal the language, a nationalist is not the same as a supremacist.

More facts are needed as is taking a look at the closeness of the mass shootings along with the DEM campaigns.  The left needed something solid to run on; ending white supremacy, gun control and clean energy.  That captures the black vote, the hispanic vote the millennial vote and the far left.

Elizabeth Warren is already sending out fund raising tweets on the backs of the two shootings.

What we all need to realize is that the Dems will continue to crap on any efforts to curb gun violence unless the end result is a total ban on and confiscation of all personally owned firearms.

I only watched it once live.  It sounded to me at the time that it was a statement that made no one happy.

If we are to take the manifesto seriously the shootings had more to do with environmentalism than white supremacy.
