House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Elijah Cummings' home was broken into last weekend in Baltimore, further proving the city has a crime problem that is out of control.

"Baltimore Police are investigating after the home of Rep. Elijah Cummings was broken into early Saturday morning," CBS Baltimore reports. "The burglary occurred around 3:40 a.m. at his Baltimore home in the 2000 block of Madison Avenue."

Last weekend President Trump criticized the horrific living conditions in parts of Cummings districts after the break in occurred. The burglary wasn't made public until yesterday.

Nikki's right.  Sometimes silence is golden.   The irony of Cummings' home being burglarized is self-evident without Trump having to tweet "too bad!"    Suddenly the media makes the story about Trump's boorish reaction rather than the truth about conditions in Democrat/union-controlled cities.

I know I have said it over and over, but Nicki Haley's stance supporting CBF flag and civil war statue removal in SC, makes her a NO GO for support in any campaign, anywhere.

I think I’ve been clear on the fact that I don’t always like the way Trump communicates, but this is just some nitpicky crap. I swear Trump could post the single word - Boo - and we would be in weeks long conversation over whether that was racial micro-aggression or not.

She worked for the administration and should have passed on commenting since it wasn’t her fight. Sometimes discretion is the best course of action when a squabble doesn’t involve you. Unless you’re just signaling—call it, maneuvering—for political purposes.

To me it looked like she had her eye on her political future with that comment. Call it a hunch.

It might play well in a congressional seat, or state, but on a national stage those days are over. We will not see a "genteel, country club" Pub win the Presidency for a very long time. After Trump the candidate will be expected to be strong and not PC.

That did raise a fair amount of controversy and her stance definitely was one that I disagreed with. I think she did a very good job as ambassador.  I like Haley in some aspects, but I don't think she'd stand a chance against Trump.
