Syrian state television also referred to reports of 'Israeli aggression' in the region


The Israel Defense Forces reportedly carried out early Wednesday an airstrike targeting Iranian strongholds in the south of Syria, with several reported killed, according to a war monitor.

Syria's state news agency said that an Israeli missile attack targeted Syrian military positions held by the government and its allies.

Considering the tinder box crap show the Middle East is, I think we need to get a little more definite than 'probably'.
