Trump admin plans to make it easier to deport illegal immigrants without a trial

The Trump administration is preparing to announce a new policy on Tuesday that will make it easier for authorities to deport illegal immigrants more quickly.
What are the details?
Expedited removal, which is a policy that has been in place since 2004, allows for U.S. immigration authorities to deport an illegal immigrant without giving them a hearing with an immigration judge, in certain circumstances.
Under previous law, U.S. immigration authorities could only use expedited removal if an immigrant was both detained within 100 miles of the U.S. border with Mexico or Canada, and if they had been in the U.S. for two weeks or less.
