In Case You Missed It Dept.:

Bernie Sanders vowed to take his free health care and free college proposals to the Democratic Convention. He's proposed two trillion dollars in tax increases on upper and middle incomes and Wall Street. Everything he promises is free, but the two trillion dollars covers shipping and handling.

President Trump kept his speech at the National Mall non-partisan July 4th before the fireworks show. Democratic candidates are saying Trump's Fourth of July celebration was just a free ad for his re-election. Many more people are saying the same thing about the first two Democratic debates.

Joe Biden told an interviewer that Russian interference in an American election back in 2016 would have never happened on his and Obama's watch. They were president and vice president that year. Biden stepped in it so badly it looked like he'd spent all day walking through San Francisco.

Psychology Today advised parents to keep young kids interacting with other kids. Yesterday while jogging, I saw a dozen kids in a park standing in a circle and screaming, pointing and calling each other racists. One of the mothers shook her head and told me they were playing presidential debates.

Cal Tech seismologists were quick to warn Southern Californians that last weekend's quakes were not the expected Big One along the San Andreas Fault. These new earthquakes ran through a newly-discovered crack in the earth's crust beneath the Central Valley. CNN named it Trump's Fault.

Al Gore warned that global warming will have worse consequences than he first thought. That must be pretty bad, because he originally said it'd destroy the planet. Al Gore turned seventy-one years old Friday, so it won't be long before we have to replace him with a renewable source of anxiety.

The New York Tourism and Convention Bureau reported that a record number of tourists will be visiting Manhattan this summer to see the historic sites, the museums and take in Broadway. The summer heat can be brutal. It's so hot in New York today that Bill Clinton is sticking to his story.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
