House Dems grumble to CNN: We’re frustrated that the Squad keeps making trouble for us

Damn, this thread is enjoyable.


If it’s true that picking a fight with the Squad — at least on “go back to where you came from” grounds — is a political loser for Trump, some members of the Democratic caucus are slow to see it. The grievances here about Ocasio-Cortez’s chief of staff allegedly organizing primary challenges to some Dem incumbents are real and longstanding too. That was a key complaint in the Dem pile-on of Saikat Chakrabarti this past weekend, which feels like ancient history now because it happened 48 hours before Trump started tweet-ranting “love it or leave it” stuff at Ilhan Omar. But it’s fuel on the fire that’s burning through comity on Pelosi’s side of the aisle.

rangerrebew...it is enjoyable to see these ninnies fighting with one another over some very stupid sh*t.

Imagine the Dems over their martinis crying about AOC and her other members of the Anarchist Four, and the damage they are doing.

I was a Dem until 2008, voted Republican mostly in national elections, but now I will never vote for another Dem.  They have gone communist or socialist, and I am tired about hearing about racism.  The person that brought racism to the forefront and into our daily discourse was Obama. 

Ben Carson just said he has never seen anything resembling racism with Trump.  And I have never seen it in my lifetime either with the many folks I have worked with or socialized with.

Some people are tired of Trump's tweets.  I am tired of too many radical elements in America getting what they want, pushing their ideology that does not match with the values of this nation.

So, yes, I am enjoying the infighting in the Democommies.  Sanders and his followers have instigated much of that too with his insane notions.

I do not blame the Dems for doing everything they can to keep him down.  He is NOT a Democommie.

Keep in mind that among Hot Air writers, "Allahpundit" is very much a Trump non-fan, not too far from Never-Trumpism. To some degree, though (s)he does see that Trump is trolling the Dems and the MSM, and they take his bait and swallow the hook.

The Dems set themselves up for this mess. They could have taken on AOC, Omar, and etc., distancing them selves from the Gang of Four if not shutting them up. Instead they embraced Omar's and Tlaib's antisemitism and AOC's insanely ludicrous Trojan Horse, her "Green New Deal". In the past Rs in Congress and the WH would have made some perfunctory noise and let it slide. Trump saw that fail, for decades, and is trolling the Dems with support-them-or condemn-them the Dems and MSM seem incapable of ignoring.
