Found in Epstein’s NYC mansion: Foreign passport, underage porn, cash, diamonds, and more
by Jerry Dunleavy
 | July 15, 2019 12:07 PM

The raid of accused child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein's palatial New York City residence uncovered a now-expired passport issued in the 1980s by a foreign country with Epstein’s picture but with a different name on it and his residence listed as Saudi Arabia.

Prosecutors said during Epstein's bail hearing Monday the passport was in a locked safe that was also filled with "piles of cash" and "dozens of diamonds."

Epstein is a flight risk and poses an “ongoing and forward-looking danger,” prosecutors claimed, pointing to the "substantial collection of photographic trophies of his victims and other young females in his mansion” uncovered during the search.

Prosecutors said in court filings that they had recovered discs from Epstein’s abode which included hand-written labels, including “Young [Name] + [Name],” “Misc nudes 1,” and “Girl pics nude.”

"Not surprisingly, the government has found that such discs contain photographs of sexually suggestive photographs of fully- or partially- nude females appearing to be underage,” prosecutors said.

Fake passport, cash and diamonds found in Epstein's home, prosecutors say

By Chris Mills Rodrigo - 07/15/19 11:54 AM EDT

Federal prosecutors announced Monday that they found a fake passport, "piles" of cash and "dozens" of diamonds in financier Jeffrey Epstein's home, The Associated Press reported.

The passport listed a Saudi Arabia residence and a photo of Epstein but a different name, Assistant U.S. Attorney Alex Rossmiller reportedly revealed during a bail hearing.

Epstein was charged last week with sex trafficking and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking.

The U.S. Attorney's office in Manhattan alleges he abused dozens of underage girls from 2002 to 2005.

A "Fake Passport?"  If true, this will nail shut the jailhouse door when the Judge rules on whether he's a flight risk.  If it's simply expired it won't.

He may very well be released to his gilded cage with nothing more than an ankle bracelet.

And no one seems to know how he funded all of this.  :pondering:

The Clintons (and others) have proven people will literally throw shopping carts full of cash at someone if it's the right someone.

Sadly, TBR ain't the "right people."   :crying:

... Arguing that Epstein is a flight risk, Assistant U.S. Attorney Alex Rossmiller said that in addition to the trove of cash and diamonds FBI agents found were works of art he hadn’t accounted for in a one-page financial-disclosure statement he filed with the court. Berman called the disclosure “cursory,” saying that it “does not fully assist me” in deciding whether to free Epstein on bail or remand him to the Metropolitan Correctional Center.

In the statement, Epstein said his assets include $57 million in cash, $14 million in fixed income, $113 million in equities and $195 million held in hedge funds and private equity. The values of his six homes range from $8.7 million in France to a $64 million private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands. All told, he says, he’s worth $559 million. ...

The State Department Once Rented A Townhouse Seized From Iran To Jeffrey Epstein — Then Sued Him For Subletting It

Jeffrey Epstein’s Upper East Side mansion has become notorious for its reportedly macabre interior decor, immense size and monetary value, and as the site of some of his lurid alleged crimes.

But Epstein, the financier who has been charged with sex trafficking and accused of sexually abusing young girls, used to live in a different Upper East Side mansion only a few blocks away. It’s a mansion that embroiled him in a dispute involving a lawyer for French Connection heroin ring suspects, the State Department, and transitively the government of Iran.  ...

Beginning in February 1992, Epstein rented a former Iranian government building that had been taken over by the State Department during the Iranian revolution, at 34 East 69th Street in one of Manhattan’s most expensive neighborhoods, and at a rate of $15,000 a month.

But things went sour when the government sued Epstein in the Southern District of New York, alleging that he had at one point failed to pay the rent on time and had violated the lease by moving out in early 1996 and subletting the place without the State Department’s permission. His subtenant was Ivan Fisher, a New York City criminal defense lawyer who had famously defended members of the French Connection and Pizza Connection drug rings. The government also sued Fisher.  ... More at True Pundit

Best news of the day so far.

I thought you might be pleased to hear that.  I surely was!

Good news.  He would have been out of the country by tonight if the judge had granted bail.

NO doubt!
