Oh yes, Trump is really smart.  A stable genius, don't you know.
----------------------------------------
Indeed.
So Trumpet spends weeks in a noisy urinary contest w/the four musketeers.
Then the foursome shifts their abusive rants to Nancy. So what does Trumpet do???
Why ride to the rescue by getting between the Girls, telling them to get out.
Hey, what the hell did Sun-tzu know!!!!!
Next the msm starts unloading on Trumpet while his fan club picks up
the chant and what does Trumpet do now ???
Why chastise then w/a frown, sarcasm and wagging finger. Classy, huh?
Stable Genius is an understatement! Why according to his fan club,
he'd give Sargon, Pericles and Julius Caesar more than a match. Of course!
-------
On a serious note; nothing good will ever come from Trumpet who has achieved
absolutely nothing and never will. He remains a noisy buffoon, desperate for
attention since puberty, who cannot discern character, is neither prudent
nor wise and is a coward at his very core, as his draft-dodging confirms.
Replacing him on the 2020 ballot should be a priority beyond urgent!!!!!!!

If you haven’t understood his sycophant fan club, allow me to recap: They’ll happily swallow whatever bilge he spews and ask for seconds.

So I take it that between your "clever" insults ofTrump's supporters, you are narrrowing down the options for who to support?

Yeah – let’s keep playing the ‘lesser of two evils’ game. Definitely keeps getting ‘lesser.’
I disagree.  Circle gets the square.

As someone who did not vote for Trump last time (I wrote in Cruz) AND someone who WILL be voting for him in 2020 (barring something unforeseen)...

Skeeter (and all trumpeters):  please stop trying to browbeat people to vote against their conscience!   You say “give me someone in the realm of possibility.”  That is YOUR condition that you’re placing on someone else’s vote. How dare you?  Each of us has our one vote that we cast in accordance with the dictates of our conscience...based upon the criteria that we EACH hold dear.  You have no right to dictate to anyone else what is important to them.  Certainly not by browbeating.

Many of these trump wars could be avoided if the trump supporters would simply accept that some conservatives don’t like their guy.  Hell I still don’t “like” him...but he’s done an acceptable job according to the dictates of MY criteria so I will reward him accordingly.

Just accept that some folks aren’t gonna get there and move on.

And edpc, we who arent in the fan club need to accept that the dictates of THEIR criteria are different as well.   There are sycophants...TBR has a couple... but mostly it’s just folks voting THEIR conscience

Un f**kingbelievable.

I'm browbeating no one. I'm asking for an alternative to Trump.

And for that I get the 'trumpeteer' and 'fan club' bullshit.

To anyone offended by the question, if you have no answer a simple 'I don't have an answer' will suffice. Or give me a damned alternative.

Wow did you miss the point.  YOU can’t demand someone else name an alternative for THEIR vote.
All you can demand is that YOU vote according to YOUR conscience

Making up the rules as you go along, I see.  It's always been acceptable to ask someone to name the candidate they would prefer.

All I did was ask a rather obvious (and by this point redundant) question - in all honesty - in response to a comment.

Maybe some find the question embarrassing but thats their problem.

BTW a little advise - if you throw around petty completely unnecessary slights don't act surprised when someone takes offense.

My alternatives are irrelevant, since they won’t be running. For the record, they would be Thune or Cotton, with Haley as VP. The point is, you’re stuck with the incumbent. He’s not who or what you think he is. He promises to defend the Second Amendment, then asks Feinstein to include her assault weapons bill on national TV. He campaigns as the law and order candidate, then says seizure first, due process later. He promises to be pro life and defund planned parenthood, but gives them hundreds of millions, anyway. ‘I’ll never sign a bill like this again,’ until he does, this past February. He hurts farmers with his tariff war, collects his own, lies about the source, gives the money to the farmers he’s harmed, and calls it economics. The list goes on and on. He’s even got Limbaugh saying all the deficit talk was never real, anyway. Enjoy the Vaudeville show. He’s the anti-Midas. He’s always left destruction in his wake and someone else holding the bag.

A small mitigating aspect in this dust up over the chant is that overwhelmingly, president’s are re-elected. It usually takes a tanking economy or other significant screw up by the president to cause him to lose reelection.

The democrats have never been this unraveled. I know this will be disappointing to some, but the stars are aligning for Trump’s re-election. Hands down.

For what its worth I respect your opinion.

But on the other hand it'd be easy to make the case that compared to recent GOP presidents and major political figures, Trump's been pretty good for the conservative cause.

Anyway even more so than in 2016 he's the only game in town.

But again @DCPatriot ....that’s their prerogative....trumpeters need to just let bygones by bygones, accept their decision.  We are each only culpable to our own conscience.

The trump wars would evaporate if both sides would simply say, “your call, friend”

That would be wonderful and would be much easier to do if others would stop the constant chivvying of those who support him.

But whatever. I'm beyond tired of the whole argument and don't really know why I got involved.

My conscience dictates that I vote against the RL.  And even though there are those in the GOP that make me suspect (know, rather) that they have been infiltrated by the RL, I still feel compelled to vote against the RL by voting for the GOP.   It's not a good feeling... but it is one I am getting more accustomed to.... as I really don't see any viable  alternative.

And the other side says that it’d be much easier if others would stop harassing them about their vote. What does it matter to person X, if in their mind person Y is wasting their vote?    It is most definitely a two way street.
I was very careful in my wording, deliberately so, in saying both sides need to let it ride.

....So...back on topic....

I watched most of the rally and as usual Pres. Trump drew a tremendous crowd. I tend to agree; if she doesn't like it here, she is welcome to leave.  The crowd's reaction was just that; 'their' reaction.  Trump was not responsible. Omar has not only slammed Israel but America.  She slammed MY country! She slammed the crowds country!  IMHO the crowd was justified.
