I think you may be right. I thought that San Fran Nan could get this under control. No longer.
She's old...nothing wrong with that. I am myself. But there has to be somebody in that cursed party that can get this under control. On the other hand...it is kind of fun watching this circus.
Being old is not Pelosi's primary vulnerability in Leftist circles. The problem is that she doesn't have any of the Liberal Leftists' get out of jail free cards. She is White. She is not homosexual or transgender. She has bizarrely for a Leftist, openly praised her Catholicism, and Christian beliefs. On the Left, you are only allowed to be Islamic or Satanic or East Asia Religions, but never Christian.
The Left has a very strict hierarchy of 'victimhood'.
1. Color of your skin
2. Sexual preference
3. Nationality <- everything except any perceived "White" country.
America, Australia, Canada, Great Britain, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe, among others do not count
4. A big super-rich donor to Leftist causes <- such as Soros, Weinstein, Buffett, among others
Pelosi doesn't have any of these. She has no Leftist 'ammunition' to leverage against them. She has the 'female card', but Leftists frequently ignore this if it is someone they do not like. They only use the 'female' thing when they can use it against the Right. It doesn't really apply to the Left.
Essentially, Pelosi is an old, White, self declared Christian American. This makes her 'the enemy' to a large percentage of the Left. Especially to the wave of young brown women who are new to Congress. They don't play by the old rules Pelosi is used to. These new girls don't even know or care what the old rules are.
They are not even 'real' Democrats. They only chose to run as a Democrat because there was no other Party choice for them.
