“Our opposition to our colleagues’ beliefs has nothing to do with race or gender or religion,” Cheney, who was joined by Reps. Steve Scalise and Kevin McCarthy at a press conference Tuesday, said.

“We oppose them and their policies because their policies are dangerous and wrong and would destroy America. The issue here is the content of their policies and we will continue to stand up and fight against what we know is wrong for this nation,” she said.

“Our colleagues, our socialist colleagues on the other side of the aisle are wrong when they advocate abortion up until the moment of birth, including partial-birth abortion, late-term abortion, and when they refuse to mandate care for babies who are born alive,” she began.

“Our colleagues are wrong where they say that we should open America’s borders, abolish ICE and abolish DHS. They’re wrong when they advocate policies that would eliminate all private health insurance in this country, destroy Medicare, and force the American people to pay for free healthcare for illegal immigrants,” Cheney continued, slamming Democrats’ call for a $15 minimum wage as a “callousness that’s born of ignorance.”

She called out socialist programs that will lead to massive government dependency and also condemned as “wrong” the Democrats’ support of abolishing the Electoral College and advocating packing the Supreme Court.

“And our colleagues are wrong when they tell Americans, when Congresswoman Pressley did just last weekend, that any individual seat at the table is only valuable, only legitimate if that person espouses some pre-approved set of beliefs deemed appropriate based on their religion or their gender or their race. When they say that, that is racist,” Cheney said,

That is the Irony.
The President called them out on a tweet, and was called racist for it.
The truth is, he would have called them out no matter what race, gender, religion they profess.
Yet, these 4 freshman, who aren't near as talented as to former singing group of the same name, are telling the world that ONLY those in the self-proclaimed minority victim class have a right to govern, and only if they stick to a certain dogma.

Jazzhead....first thing I thought when I saw her speaking the other day, was she has the grit to be president one day.  I can see her running in 2024, and get serious consideration.  Americans are looking for people to be strong as their leaders, and the limp noodle Dems just are nowhere near being leaders.

Trump easily gets re-elected against any of the Dems presently running because of his perceived and actual accomplishments showing strength.

The DEMS are mad, well organized and will stop at NOTHING to win.

I don't think so.  24 candidates, and not a one worth a good BM!  It will be a landslide.  At a minimum, Trump wins more states than he did last time.

The ONLY thing that changes that outcome is if the FED jacks interests rates up to stall the economy, which they can do.  And ONLY HR Clinton stands a chance against him.  She is a center candidate, got 3 million more votes than he did last time, and she knows where all her mistakes were made last time.  She live in WI, MI, OH, PA, FL, and NC, and she actually brings REAL ISSUES that pertain to Americans, perhaps even some of the very same things Trump has been running on, but saying she can lead Congress to affect those issues where Trump failed, and she has a shot at winning.  But if she embraces this nonsense of supporting illegal invading aliens, she loses bigger than last time.

I'd love to hear the Old Guard, like Pelosi and Biden's take on what's going on within the Party,  I have to believe right now they are not happy at all where things are headed, but they can't admit it publicly.    The Squad has boxed them in,  and they can't distance from them now.

Well, it is July, and there is plenty of time for her to announce.  2020 got off to a very early start.  Heck, we already have had two numbnuts drop out, and a new one last week.  There is plenty of time for HRC to make her announcement, and all the more delicious when the clown car comes to a screeching halt.
