Rasmus Ristolainen, a professional hockey player who plays for the Buffalo Sabres in the National Hockey League, was slapped with a speeding ticket for driving 50 mph in a 25 mph zone while in his home country of Finland. Ristolainen, age 24, faces a three-month driving ban.

The fine on the ticket is where things get interesting. Ristolainen makes $5,400,000 per year as part of his contract with the Sabres, and Finland assesses fines and penalties based on income. So that speeding ticket ended up costing Ristolainen a whopping $135,000.

Think about this the next time anyone like AOC or Bernie wants to be like Finland, the land of six-figure speeding tickets.

Here's one case where having "a 14th Amendment" would have helped...
