IMO, the speech is a huge bust.

Not the same with such a small crowd...and truthfully, it would have been better if he had simply used closed-circuit television from the White House, wishing all Americans a joyous Fourth of July...5 minutes more than enough.

It was outstanding.  And... I hate to break it to all of the idiot lefties out there (nah, I really don't hate to)...

but the crowd was huge and LOVIN IT....all of the military displays and military music and everything.

So suck on that, leftists!  And choke on it.   :smokin:

Why couldn't the damned FOX cameras catch the Blue Angels flyover?   Ridiculous.  Truly disappointing.

I take that back....it must have been the Stealth Bomber that went first because all I heard was the engines and a roar of the crowd.

Yeah....thanks....forgot all about them.

Wondering why somebody didn't wipe the damned bulletproof glass panels before he started speaking.

Nobody had umbrellas out...but it was like looking thru a windshield at the carwash.

Trump's speech was a good history lesson, especially of our different service branches. From the TV shots I saw, it was a good crowd, at least I saw a lot of umbrellas. The flyovers were inspiring.

Someone messed up. Water repelling treatments are available in any hardware store.

But it was a nice ceremony - I know what trump is attempting and I appreciate him for it.

The FOXNEWS single camera was stationary...no different than a CTV camera at my ATM.  LOL!

All I could see was the small crowd behind and directly in front of Pres. Trump.

Briefly....

Had a huge falling out with my best friend and pool shooting partner over this yesterday.

He and his wife have gone to D.C. fireworks every year since Jesus was just a lad.

When I asked him if he was going with the threat of rain and suggestion of where to park to get the hell out of Dodge quickly, he referred to President Trump as "The Fuehrer" taking over his favorite spot to watch them.

It quickly escalated from there.    happy77

Thank you President Trump for bring PATRIOTISM back to this country ... what a great 4th of July tribute.  The crowd was massive!

Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Thanks, Lando.  Appreciate that.

That also came on the heels of a back and forth with my #1 lady friend, who is an out-and-out Hillary and Obama supporter.

Shaking my head because I fear that they have gotten as most Americans.... Stockholm Syndromed like Patty Heart.

We haven't spoken or communicated in days.

This past week, I feel I've lost two.

We purposefully avoided politics, but it's gotten to be impossible to call ignorance out.

I had absolutely no inkling that size crowd was there.  FOXNEWS should be ashamed of their coverage.

@DCPatriot, you had me going for a minute there.

It was a very good speech, well delivered, and seemed heartfelt.  It was exactly what the nation needed right now.

@Sanguine    :beer:

Couldn't get past the rain-splattered bullet proof glass and overall lack of electricity in the air...per FOXNEWS coverage.

It soured on me quickly.   I want so much for him to succeed.
