  • I was a "conspiracy theorist". Now I'm just right.
Folks, you gotta forgive me, because I'm so thick-headed, but...
Let me get this straight...

The government needed furniture for these illegal detention centers, do I have that right?

So... they went and bought the furniture from Wayfair, right?

And paid Wayfair for said furniture, is that correct?

Well... isn't that the way things are supposed to work?

Is Wayfair supposed to GIVE the goods away?
And stay in business?

There's sumthin' I'm just not gettin' here.
What is it...?
Why are the employees angry?
Wrong question, at this point.

With all their obvious business acumen, the question is one of "Why are those employees employees?"
How God must weep at humans' folly! Stand fast! God knows what he is doing!
Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
